Hello Titan Band and Color Guard Families
Thank you to everyone who has already signed up to volunteer (chaperones, dinner server, pit crew, photographers and especially concessions!). If you have not yet signed up to volunteer, please do! Except for pit crew, all volunteer opportunities are available on the website under schedules and tickets: https://www.centennialband.com/schedule . For each event, find the Red circle “click here to volunteer”, which will take you to our Sign-up Genius account.
Practice on Monday 8/26 will be before school 7-8:30am. Beginning Tuesday 8/27, practice will move to after school 4:45 – 7:15pm (weather permitting). Check the website for any schedule changes.
Tuesday 8/27 is our Parent Preview Night. We welcome all families to join us at the JV Football field 6:30-7:30pm. The directors and Booster Board will be on hand to answer any questions about the rest of the season and especially remaining volunteer needs.
Thursday 8/29 is our 1st Football Game. All Band and Color Guard Students will remain on campus at the end of 4th period. The Boosters will provide dinner and the students will be bused to Toyota Stadium. We will return to CHS after the football game is complete. All Band and ColorGuard Students must ride the bus. Personal transportation is not allowed. **Very important: Please do not park in the bus lane to pick up your student after the game. Instead, please park in the student parking lot next to the tennis courts.
Finally, one of our parents has set up a “WhatsApp” group for Band and Color Guard parents. The group name is “Titan Band Parents”. This group is not sponsored by the Band or the Booster, however several of us have joined and are happy to answer any questions.
