Only NINE more days of school, it’s hard to believe the 2025-2026 school year is coming to an end so quickly. What an amazing year we’ve had together!
KEY DATES
Wed., May 13 at 6:15 pm: General TBBA Meeting and Board election + Spring Concert
Sat., May 16 at 1:30 pm.: Percussion Concert: Vita Allegria in CHS Auditorium
Fri., May 22: Our Class of 2026 Seniors Graduate at Comerica Center
TBBA General Meeting & Spring Concert—this Wednesday!!
GENERAL MEETING DETAILS: It’s time for our final 2025-2026 General Meeting at 6:15 pm in the cafeteria, see a copy of last meeting minutes for approval.
We will elect the 2026-2027 TBBA Executive Board Members, the Nominating Committee slate includes:
President - Sasha Bailey
Vice President - OPEN
Parliamentarian - Keisha Entzminger-Brooks
Secretary - Tina Hartley
Treasurer - Aruna Katrela
Fundraising Officer - Nadya Bashiti
Technology Officer - William Sun
Any parent/guardian with a 2026-2027 Band & Color Guard member may also nominate themselves for any position in person during the election.
If you volunteered for a non-executive board position, the 2026-2027 Board President will follow-up with you within 30 days of the election.
SPRING CONCERT DETAILS: After the election/ general meeting we'll head to the auditorium for the concert...maybe stop to buy a Nothing but Bundt Cake in the lobby on our way. This will be our final fundraiser of the school year!
7:00 pm – Special Student-led Brass Ensemble
7:15 pm – Third Band will perform
7:35 pm – Second Band will perform
8:00 pm – First Band will perform
Post-Concert – ALL Band students (excluding Percussion pending their Saturday concert) need to leave their concert uniform in the Band Hall this includes all items with the exception of men’s white tuxedo shirts, cummerbund & bow tie. If your student still has their marching jacket or bibber those also need to be returned.
2026-2027 REGISTRATION If you missed Saturday’s event, please do the following:
Print, Sign & Return the registration package and send completed forms to school with your student to give their Band/Color Guard director ASAP.
Pay fees via Zelle to treasurer@centennialband.com or you can contact Valerie Lonsdale our treasurer to make alternative arrangements
