Goodbye Spring Break, Hello Pre-UIL & Championship Color Guard Competition

I hope everyone had an awesome Spring Break and are ready for the busy Band + Winter Guard week ahead!

🎶Pre-UIL Concert March 24 in CHS auditorium. Please join us as we work toward UIL with this pre-show performance. A separate schedule for UIL will follow in the coming days. See the schedule for each band below. Ask your students to be sure they have all their tuxedo and dresses with all the various pieces ready to go!

  • CHS Top Band: Warm-up at 5pm | Perform at 5:30pm

  • CHS 3rd Band: Warm-up at 6:00pm| Perform at 6:30pm

  • CHS 2nd Band: Warm-up 6:30pm | Perform at 7:00pm


⏰ ALL STUDENTS MUST REGISTER for Band & Guard Banquet

  • Every student needs to complete the➡️ registration form ⬅️ regardless of whether they plan to attend the banquet.

  • The student banquet cost was pre-paid via fall registration fees so (Band and Guard) do not need to buy a ticket but MUST register to ensure they have a seat and meal at the event.

  • All family members and Winter Guard students must buy tickets ($60 pp) only one registration is required for each family.


📢2026-2027 Band & Color Guard Registration & Freshman Spring Camp | Sat., May 9

  • All incoming 9-12 graders will join us in the Band Hall to register for the 2026-2027 school year.

  • Registration will include uniform fitting, spirit wear sneak peek, volunteer info and more.

  • Payment is due during the event, and as always, payment plans available.

  • 9th Graders and Band/Guard leadership (drum majors & section leadership) will participate in Spring Camp.

  • More information on the day’s schedule, plus forms and other information coming in the next few weeks.


🌴Spring Trip Parents Meeting | April 14th if your student is attending the Spring Trip to Corpus Christi, please join us for in-person trip meeting. It’s not mandatory but any and all questions will be answered. Details are discussed at length with the students in class as well. The meeting will begin at 5:30 in the cafeteria at CHS and will last no longer than 30-45 minutes.
