Itās going to be an action-packed week. Please read through the details below and let me know if you have any questions.
Ā WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS WEEK
Tuesday, Sept. 23: šµFISD Showcasešµ. See full itinerary. We still need Pit Crew volunteers for this event! ā”ļøSign Up.
Dinner at the school 4:45 p.m.
Students bused to the event.
Performance at 8 p.m.
Arrive back at CHS at 10:15 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 26: šHomecoming gameš at Kuykendall Stadium vs Sherman HS. More information. We still need Pit Crew and concessions volunteers. ā”ļøSign Up.
Saturday, Sept. 27:Ā š„Mesquite Marching Festivalšŗ. Itinerary and link to purchase tickets available here. We still need Pit Crew volunteers and a couple chaperones & lunch servers.ā”ļøĀ Sign Up.
Band Hall Opens at 9:30 a.m.
Lunch at CHS at 11 a.m.
Depart for contest at 12 p.m.
Performance at 3:00 p.m.
Return to school around 5 p.m.
UNIFORM REMINDERS:
š£Critical Uniform Care:Ā š£PLEASE HELP YOUR STUDENTS TAKE CARE OF THE UNIFORMS.Ā Hang up marching bibbers and jacket after every performance to air out ā do not wash them.Ā Wash the compression shirt after every performance in COLD water and hang to dry (no dryer).Ā Marching shoes, black socks and gloves also required for every performance.
