Hello Titan Band and Color Guard Families
I hope you are all enjoying the long 5-day weekend. Did anyone else feel like you were missing something this week? I must admit that it was a little strange not having either a football game or a band competition.
Wednesday 4:45 – 6pm: Practice for ALL students participating in the SPIRIT SHOW (this is not “Red Light - Green Light” contest show, but rather a much shorter show performed by ALL band and guard students)
Final Football Game Thursday November 7th vs Heritage at Toyota Stadium

Marching Uniform Collection: Uniform Moms will collect the marching uniforms (bibbers and jacket) after Thursday’s football game for final dry cleaning and storage. IMPORTANT: if your student will not be at Thursday’s game, please turn their uniform in during class Thursday. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Sarah McBride at uniforms1@centennialband.com
Winter Guard: Our amazing Color Guard is in rapid transition from Fall to Winter Guard. We will have 2 competitive teams this season – Varsity and JV. No experience is required for the JV team, so let your friends know. Band students can also compete in Winter Guard (practices and commitments are separate from Spring Concert Band and generally do not conflict). Anyone still interested should contact Lauren Flores at floresl@friscoisd. Parent meetings are this Thursday November 7th 6:30-7:00pm for JV and 7-7:30pm for Varsity
2025 Spring Trip: Currently planned for April 26 – 29, 2025 to San Antonio Texas (dates to be finalized this week and scheduled AFTER all major testing activities). Students will have excused absence from school for April 28 & 29. Registration Form and $200 Deposit due in November. Final details will be communicated next week.

· Dec 3rd & 5th: All-Region Phase 1 auditions
· Dec 9th 7pm: Holiday Concert (all band students)
· Dec 19th 5:30pm: Percussion Concert
· Dec 17th and Jan 6th Concessions for College Football games at Toyota Stadium
